Would you like to join the Love Covers’ team and share the joy of creative sewing? We are in need of volunteers to help us expand our reach!
This class is for those with sewing experience who can help others learn. We will explain Love Covers' vision and mission, provide hands-on training for popular projects, and enjoy a light lunch. All volunteers must attend training and pass a background check.
This class will be held in the Cottage and registration is required to participate!

ADVANCED Rope Class
Love Covers will show you the ropes in this ADVANCED rope class. In this FREE class, your rope project can be made into a trivet as shown, or into a bowl. Janet will teach both applications!
You must have some experience making rope bowls (or have taken our basic rope bowl class) before taking this class.
All supplies—including the use of our Brother Pacesetter sewing machines—are included.
This class is geared towards ages 14 and up.
SPACE IS LIMITED so you must sign up to attend!

Love Covers will show you the ropes in this FREE rope bowl class! From the basics of rope preparation, to adding beads as an accent, this class will equip you to start—and finish—your own rope bowl.
All supplies—including the use of our Brother Pacesetter sewing machines—are included.
This class is geared towards ages 14 and up.

Love Covers will have a wide assortment of quality hand made items available for your donation—from rope bowls and quilts to pet items, tote bags and lots more. You’re sure to find something special for your gift list!
All the items we offer will support our nonprofit and allow us to reach out into our community with creative sewing opportunities.
There are two shopping sessions available:
9:00—11:00 and 1:00—2:30

Give Local is an online fundraising campaign that runs 11.11.24 to 11.22.24.

Give Local is an annual two-week giving campaign hosted by Community Foundation of South Puget Sound. 100% of all gifts made go directly to supporting our work in the communities we serve.
This vital funding will increase our ability to bring our unique sewing experience to those who cannot come to us. From our ongoing Veteran quilt project held at the Chehalis Veteran Memorial Museum, to meeting with home school co-op groups, 4-H youth and more, we know that building community through creative sewing projects helps make connections that count.
For Give Local 2024, Love Covers will focus our fundraising efforts to help secure a vehicle that’s fully outfitted to bring our events to more people.
Being more efficient with hauling supplies and machines means more time spent creating connections for the communities we serve.

Strawberry Festival
Love Covers will be at the South Bay Grange Strawberry Festival! We will have a booth dedicated to kids sewing for kids! With hand crank machines, the kids that visit can make blocks and add them to the others collected. These blocks will be made into quilts for foster kids. Come by and see us!
